Rainbow Lorikeets

This painting is one of the few pieces done on prepared canvas – salvaged for re-use from a council cleanup. The canvas is covered in a riot of the parrots most common in suburban Sydney: rainbow lorrikeets. They are highly coloured and very cheeky!
